Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 April 2007, amend the Sale of Liquor Regulations 1990 (the principal regulations).

Under the principal regulations, an applicant for a liquor licence pays the appropriate District Licensing Agency a prescribed fee. The amendments halve the amount of that fee that is then payable by a District Licensing Agency to the Licensing Authority.

Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
