Companies Act 1993 Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2007

  • Preamble

    At Wellington this 28th day of May 2007

Pursuant to section 372(1) of the Companies Act 1993, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title
  • These regulations are the Companies Act 1993 Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2007.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on 1 July 2007.

3 Principal regulations amended
4 Part 1 of Schedule 2 amended
  • (1) Part 1 of Schedule 2 is amended by omitting the first item and substituting the following item:

    For an application to register a company under section 12(1) of the Act$250 (or $150 if application is lodged by electronic means)

    (2) Part 1 of Schedule 2 is amended by omitting the eighth item and substituting the following item:

    For inspection under section 363(1) of the Act of any number of documents contained in a single file that is part of the New Zealand register or the overseas register$10 (but no fee if inspection is carried out by electronic means)

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2007, amend certain fees payable under the Companies Act 1993 Regulations 1994.
