Family Courts Amendment Rules 2007

  • Preamble

    At Wellington this 16th day of July 2007

Pursuant to section 16A of the Family Courts Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following rules.

1 Title
  • These rules are the Family Courts Amendment Rules 2007.

2 Commencement
  • These rules come into force on 1 August 2007.

3 Principal rules amended
4 Amendments to forms in Schedule 9
  • (1) Forms PPPR 3, 4, 7, 8, 12, and 13 in Schedule 9 are amended by omitting 20 years in each place where it appears and substituting in each case 18 years.

    (2) Form PPPR 5 in Schedule 9 is amended—

    • (a) by omitting 20 years in each place where it appears and substituting in each case 18 years ; and

    • (b) by omitting $2,000 and substituting $5,000.

    (3) Form PPPR 6 in Schedule 9 is amended—

    • (a) by omitting 20 years in each place where it appears in both the items described as item 1 and substituting in each case 18 years ; and

    • (b) by omitting $2,000 and substituting $5,000.

These rules, which come into force on 1 August 2007, make changes to the Family Courts Rules 2002 consequential on—
