Pursuant to sections 167 and 168 of the Land Transport Act 1998, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

These regulations are the Land Transport (Requirements for Storage and Towage of Impounded Vehicles) Amendment Regulations 2007.
These regulations come into force on 1 October 2007.
These regulations amend the Land Transport (Requirements for Storage and Towage of Impounded Vehicles) Regulations 1999.
The definition of impounded vehicle in regulation 2 is amended by omitting “section 96 or section 122” and substituting “section 96, 96A, or 122”.

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 October 2007, amend the Land Transport (Requirements for Storage and Towage of Impounded Vehicles) Regulations 1999. The amendment takes into account the coming into force of section 96A of the Land Transport Act 1998, which concerns the impoundment of vehicles used in transport services.
