Insolvency Act 2006 Commencement Order 2007

    At Wellington this 29th day of October 2007

Pursuant to section 2 of the Insolvency Act 2006, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title
  • This order is the Insolvency Act 2006 Commencement Order 2007.

2 Commencement of Insolvency Act 2006
  • The Insolvency Act 2006 comes into force on 3 December 2007.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

The Insolvency Act 2006 was enacted in 2006 to come into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council. This order now appoints 3 December 2007 as the date on which the Act comes into force.
