Pursuant to section 67 of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
These regulations are the Forest and Rural Fires Amendment Regulations 2008.
These regulations come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.
These regulations amend the Forest and Rural Fires Regulations 2005.
Regulation 38(1) is amended by omitting “13(1)”
and substituting “13(1) or (3)”
.
Form 1 of the Schedule is amended by omitting “section 13(1)”
and substituting “section 13(1) or (3)”
.

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette, amend regulation 38 and Form 1 of the Schedule of the Forest and Rural Fires Regulations 2005 to correct a minor drafting error.
