Pursuant to section 16 of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
This order is the United Nations Sanctions (Rwanda) Regulations Revocation Order 2008.
This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
The United Nations Sanctions (Rwanda) Regulations 1994 (SR 1994/114) are revoked.

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, revokes the United Nations Sanctions (Rwanda) Regulations 1994, which prohibit the export of arms and related material to Rwanda. The United Nations Security Council lifted the complete arms embargo on 1 September 1996 by paragraph 8 of resolution 1011 (1995), and lifted the remaining measures relating to Rwanda on 10 July 2008 by paragraph 1 of resolution 1823 (2008).
