Regulations are laws made under Acts
(1) For the purposes of the definition in section 4 of the Act of Police article, this subclause describes—
(a) the crest and badge first set out in the Schedule; and
(b) the images secondly and thirdly set out in the Schedule; and
(c) any shoulder patch bearing the arms (within the meaning of section 2 of the Flags, Emblems, and Names Protection Act 1981) of New Zealand above “POLICE”
.
(2) For the purposes of the cessation of the protection by section 114 of the Act of the crest and badge referred to in paragraph (a) of that section, this subclause prescribes the crest and badge first set out in the Schedule.
