This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 March 2009, prescribe additional information to be notified in a preliminary notice of birth that is required to be given under section 5A of the Births, Deaths, Marriages, and Relationships Registration Act 1995.
