Land Transport (Certificates of Compliance for Evidential Breath-Testing Device (Alcosensor II)) Revocation Notice 2009

Pursuant to sections 2(2) and 75A(5) of the Land Transport Act 1998, the Minister of Police, after consultation with the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Justice, gives the following notice.

1 Title
  • This notice is the Land Transport (Certificates of Compliance for Evidential Breath-Testing Device (Alcosensor II)) Revocation Notice 2009.

2 Commencement
  • This notice comes into force on 3 February 2010.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice, which comes into force on 3 February 2010, revokes the Land Transport (Certificates of Compliance for Evidential Breath-Testing Device (Alcosensor II)) Notice 2001. The Alcosensor II is no longer an approved evidential breath-testing device.
