Pursuant to section 165 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.


1 Title
  • These regulations are the Biosecurity (Forms) Amendment Regulations 2010.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on 22 April 2010.

5 Forms C and E of Schedule revoked
  • Forms C and E of the Schedule are revoked.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 22 April 2010, amend the Biosecurity (Forms) Regulations 1995 by revoking forms C and E from the Schedule. Forms C and E are forms of infringement notice. New regulations providing for infringement offences will provide for the appropriate forms (see the Biosecurity (Infringement Offences) Regulations 2010).
