Pursuant to section 402 of the Building Act 2004, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister, makes the following regulations.
These regulations are the Building (Dam Safety) Amendment Regulations 2010.
These regulations come into force on 30 June 2010.
These regulations amend the Building (Dam Safety) Regulations 2008.
Regulation 2 is amended by omitting “1 July 2010”
and substituting “1 July 2012”
.

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 30 June 2010, amend the Building (Dam Safety) Regulations 2008. The effect of the amendment is to defer the commencement of the Building (Dam Safety) Regulations from 1 July 2010 to 1 July 2012.
Date of notification in Gazette: 24 June 2010.
These regulations are administered by the Department of Building and Housing.
