Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force at 11.30 am on 25 November 2010, removes 8 companies from statutory management under the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Act 1989 (the Act). The companies were made subject to statutory management in 2003 by the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Order 2003 (SR 2003/136).

The effect of this order is that, in accordance with section 62(3) of the Act,—

  • each company named in the order ceases to be subject to statutory management at 11.30 am on 25 November 2010; and

  • the appointment of the statutory managers in respect of those companies terminates at that time and on that date.

In accordance with section 61(2) of the Act, the liquidations of CH Finance Limited, ICMG Leasing Limited, and The Independent Creative Management Group Limited revive as if they had not ceased. Richard Dale Agnew and Grant Edward Burns, both of Auckland, Chartered Accountants, are specified as the liquidators of each of those companies.

The Corporations (Investigation and Management) Order 2003 is revoked.

Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
