These regulations, which come into force on 19 April 2011, amend the Social Security (Temporary Additional Support) Regulations 2005. The Individual Support Payments Programme is designed to provide short-term special assistance to certain people affected by the aftershock of the Canterbury earthquake that occurred on 22 February 2011.
