Pursuant to section 48 of the Cadastral Survey Act 2002, section 184A of the Land Act 1948, and section 235 of the Land Transfer Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

Regulations

1 Title
  • These regulations are the Land Information New Zealand (Fees and Charges) Amendment Regulations 2011.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on 1 July 2011.

3 Principal regulations amended
4 Schedule amended
  • (1) The Schedule is amended by revoking Parts 1, 2, and 3 and substituting the Parts set out in the Schedule of these regulations.

    (2) Part 7 of the Schedule is amended by omitting paragraph 2A and the associated fee and substituting:

    Lodging plans that are not cadastral survey datasets (as defined by section 4 of the Cadastral Survey Act 2002)

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2011, amend the Land Information New Zealand (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2003.

The amendments change the fees payable for digital certificates, access to departmental databases, searches for cadastral data, and lodgement of plans that are not cadastral survey datasets.
