Pursuant to sections 38 and 100 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

Regulations

1  Title

  • These regulations are the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991 Amendment Regulations 2011.

2  Commencement

  • These regulations come into force on 1 July 2011.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2011, amend the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991. The amendments reduce the international passenger security charge from $10 to $8 and reduce the domestic passenger security charge from $4.35 to $3.70.
