Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Summary Proceedings Amendment Act 2011, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings specified provisions of the Summary Proceedings Amendment Act 2011 (the Act) into force on 13 February 2012.

The matters to which the amendments relate include service of documents, reparation, credit reporting, and warrants to seize property. The order brings into force the remainder of sections 27 and 31 of the Act: those sections had been brought into force in part, along with several other provisions, on the day after the date on which the Act received the Royal assent.
