Pursuant to section 32 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.


1  Title
  • This order is the Ombudsmen Act (Schedule 1––Crown Asset Management Limited) Order 2012.

2  Commencement
  • This order comes into force on 29 February 2012.

3  Part 2 of Schedule 1 of Ombudsmen Act 1975 amended
  • In the Ombudsmen Act 1975, Schedule 1, Part 2, insert in its appropriate alphabetical order Crown Asset Management Limited.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 29 February 2012, inserts the name Crown Asset Management Limited into Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975. The effect of the order is that both the Ombudsmen Act 1975 and the Official Information Act 1982 will apply to Crown Asset Management Limited.
