Order in Council

At Wellington this 7th day of May 2012

Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act 2002, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Order

1 Title
  • This order is the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act Commencement Order 2012.

2 Commencement of section 27(2) of Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act 2002
  • Section 27(2) of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act 2002 comes into force on 7 June 2012.

Rebecca Kitteridge,
Clerk of the Executive Council.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings into force, on 7 June 2012, section 27(2) of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act 2002, which is a Private Act.

Section 27(2) of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act 2002 repeals Parts 2 and 3 of that Act, which provide for governance of the Foundation. These Parts no longer apply as the Foundation is now an incorporated society registered under the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 and has its governance regulated by that Act.

Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.

Date of notification in Gazette: 10 May 2012.

This order is administered by the Ministry of Education.
