Pursuant to section 2(1) of the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Amendment Act 2011, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Amendment Act 2011 into force on 1 August 2012.

That Act substitutes some provisions of the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act 2009 to enable orders of reparation and offender levies to be paid out of the sale proceeds arising from forfeiture orders by the Official Assignee.
