Pursuant to section 2(4) of the Land Transport (Road Safety and Other Matters) Amendment Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings into force on 10 September 2012 the provisions of the Land Transport (Road Safety and Other Matters) Amendment Act 2011 that provide primarily for alcohol interlock devices and zero alcohol licences.


Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
