Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Victims' Rights Amendment Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
2 Commencement of rest of Victims' Rights Amendment Act 2011
This order is the Victims' Rights Amendment Act 2011 Commencement Order 2013.
Section 8 of the Victims' Rights Amendment Act 2011 comes into force on 1 July 2013.

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force on 1 July 2013 the rest of the Victims' Rights Amendment Act 2011 (the Act), namely, section 8. The Victims' Rights Amendment Act 2011 Commencement Order 2011 brought into force sections 4 to 7 of the Act. No other provision of the Act remains to be brought into force. This order is part of a set of commencement orders related to the Criminal Procedure Act Commencement Order 2013.
