High Court Fees Amendment Regulations 2014

Pursuant to section 100A of the Judicature Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.


1 Title
  • These regulations are the High Court Fees Amendment Regulations 2014.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on 1 July 2014.

3 Principal regulations
4 Schedule amended
  • (1) In the Schedule, item 9, replace items 35(b), 47, 64A, and 64B with items 35(b), 64A, and 64B).

    (2) In the Schedule, item 9(b), replace item 2 or 3 applies with item 2, 3, 46, or 48 applies.

    (3) In the Schedule, revoke item 47.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2014, amend the High Court Fees Regulations 2013 so that a reduced fee of $200 applies to interlocutory applications made on notice where these relate to a request for issue of a bankruptcy notice or to a creditor's application for adjudication.
