Pursuant to section 62 of the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Act 1989, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Order

1 Title
  • This order is the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Order (No 2) 2014.

2 Commencement
  • This order comes into force on 18 September 2014.

3 Termination of statutory management of corporations named in Schedule
  • The corporations named in the Schedule cease to be subject to statutory management at 10 am on 18 September 2014.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 18 September 2014, removes 1 company and 8 trusts from statutory management under the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Act 1989 (the Act).

The effect of this order is that at 10 am on 18 September 2014, in accordance with section 62(3) of the Act,—

  • the following company and trusts cease to be subject to statutory management:

    • Aorangi Securities Limited:

    • Barns Charitable Trust:

    • Benmore Charitable Trust:

    • Morgan Charitable Trust:

    • Otipua Charitable Trust:

    • Oxford Charitable Trust:

    • Regent Charitable Trust:

    • Te Tua Charitable Trust:

    • Wai-iti Charitable Trust; and

  • the appointments of their statutory managers terminate.

This order also revokes the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Order 2010 and the Corporations (Investigation and Management) Order (No 2) 2010, which together placed the above company and trusts into statutory management in 2010.
