Health and Disability (Geographical Areas of DHBs) Order 2015

Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council

Pursuant to section 19(2) of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000, His Excellency the Governor-General makes the following order,—

(a)

acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and

(b)

after the requirements of section 20 of that Act have been satisfied.

Order

1 Title

This order is the Health and Disability (Geographical Areas of DHBs) Order 2015.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 30 June 2015.

3 Schedule 1 amended

(1)

This clause amends Schedule 1 of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000.

(2)

In the item relating to Hawke’s Bay DHB, delete “, Chatham Islands Territory”.

(3)

In the item relating to Canterbury DHB, at the end, insert “, Chatham Islands Territory”.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order amends Schedule 1 of the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000. It comes into force on 30 June 2015.

The amendment removes the Chatham Islands Territory from the geographical area of Hawke’s Bay DHB and adds it to the geographical area of Canterbury DHB.
