Pursuant to section 2(4)´╗┐(a) of the Immigration Amendment Act 2015, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title

This order is the Immigration Amendment Act 2015 Commencement Order 2015.

2 Commencement of section 102 of Immigration Amendment Act 2015

Section 102 of the Immigration Amendment Act 2015 comes into force on 7 December 2015.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings section 102 of the Immigration Amendment Act 2015 into force on 7 December 2015. That section amends section 399 of the Immigration Act 2009 to enable regulations to be made providing for the imposition and collection of an immigration levy.
