This order is made under section 91H of the Education Act 1989 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

Order

1 Title

This order is the Education (2019 School Staffing) Amendment Order 2018.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

3 Principal order

This order amends the Education (2019 School Staffing) Order 2018 (the principal order).

4 Clause 6 amended (Interpretation: general)

In clause 6(1), replace the definition of community of learning with:

community of learning means a group of schools that the Minister has approved as a community of learning for the purpose of this order

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, amends the Education (2019 School Staffing) Order 2018 (the principal order).

Clause 4 replaces the definition of community of learning in clause 6(1) to clarify that it includes a group of schools approved by the Minister as a community of learning for the purpose of the principal order.
