To omit this clause (lines 6 and 7 on page 3) and substitute the following clause:
This Act comes into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council; and 1 or more Orders in Council may be made appointing different dates for different provisions and different purposes.
To insert the following definition in its appropriate alphabetical order:
Antarctica has the same meaning as in section 2(1) of the Antarctica Act 1960
To insert the following subclause after subclause (1) (after line 15 on page 8):
(1A) In addition, the Board may exercise its powers and carry out its functions and duties under this Act, as far as they are relevant, in relation to those parts of Antarctica outside the Ross Dependency.
“10(1)(b) and (d)” (line 16 on page 15) and substitute
“10(1)(b) or (d)”.
To omit this paragraph (lines 36 and 37 on page 15) and substitute the following paragraph:
“the Ross Dependency” (line 26 on page 19) and substitute
