Trade Marks (International Treaties and Enforcement) Amendment Bill
Hon Simon Power, in Committee, to move as follows:
That the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, and Part 1 be a separate Bill, and that for the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, and the Part 1 heading there be substituted the following enacting words and clauses:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
This Act is the Trade Marks Amendment Act 2009.
(1) Sections 3, 4 to 10, 12 to 16, 18 to 20, and 22A to 27 come into force on the day after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent.
(2) The rest of this Act comes into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council; and 1 or more Orders in Council may be made appointing different dates for different provisions and different purposes.
That Part 2 be a separate Bill, and that for the Part 2 heading there be substituted the following enacting words and clauses:

This Act is the Copyright Amendment Act 2009.
(1) Sections 28, 30, 32 to 34, 36, 38, and 39 come into force on the day after the date on which this Act receives the Royal assent.
(2) The rest of this Act comes into force on a date to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council; and 1 or more Orders in Council may be made appointing different dates for different provisions and different purposes.
This Supplementary Order Paper divides the Trade Marks (International Treaties and Enforcement) Amendment Bill into the following 2 Bills:
the Trade Marks Amendment Bill:
the Copyright Amendment Bill.
