Hon Christopher Finlayson, in Committee, to move the following amendments:

Clause 63

In clause 63(2), after “comprising” (page 48, line 1), insert “former”.

Clause 66

In clause 66(1), replace “the area shown as “A” on deed plan OTS-204-19A (subject to survey)” (page 48, lines 28 and 29) with “Section 1 SO 506789”.

In clause 66(2), replace “shown as “B”, “C”, and “D” on deed plan OTS-204-19A (subject to survey)” (page 48, lines 30 and 31) with “comprising Sections 2, 3, and 4 SO 506789”.

Explanatory note

This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Rangitāne Tū Mai Rā (Wairarapa Tamaki nui-ā-Rua) Claims Settlement Bill.

Most of the amendments are updates to legal descriptions of various properties that have been surveyed. The amendments also change the person who is authorised to apply for land registration of a cultural redress property and replace a reference to provisions of an Act with a reference to the provisions of the Act replacing them.

Departmental disclosure statement

The Office of Treaty Settlements considers that a departmental disclosure statement is not required to be prepared for this Supplementary Order Paper.
