Title

An Act to enable the Waimakariri Harbour Board to Borrow the sum of One Thousand Pounds for the purpose of carrying out Improvements in the Harbour and River of Waimakariri.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows

1 Short Title.

The Short Title of this Act is “The Waimakariri Harbour Board Loan Act, 1881.”

2 Waimakariri Harbour Board empowered to borrow £1,000.

The Waimakariri Harbour Board shall have power to borrow, subject to the provisions of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” any sum not exceeding one thousand pounds, and to apply the moneys so borrowed to the carrying out of improvements in the Port of Waimakariri.
