Contents
An Act to vest certain Land in the Town of Invercargill in the New River Harbour Board.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The New River Harbour Endowments Act, 1883.”
2 Lands in Schedule vested in New River Harbour Board.
From and after the passing of this Act the lands described in the Schedule to this Act shall vest in the New River Harbour Board and their successors, for an estate of inheritance in fee-simple, as an endowment for the benefit of the New River Harbour.
3 Lands to be dealt with under “The Harbours Act, 1878.”

The said lands shall and may be dealt with in all respects by the said New River Harbour Board, subject to the provisions of “The Harbours Act, 1878,”
and any amendment thereof.
4 Crown grants may be issued.
The Governor may issue such Crown grants or make such other assurances as may be necessary for evidencing the title of the said New River Harbour Board to the said lands, and such grants or other assurances so issued may be registered under “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,”
or any amendment Act, anything therein contained to the contrary notwithstanding.
Schedule
1.
All that piece or parcel of land situated in the Town of Invercargill, comprising 1 acre and 19 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the East by Ayr Street, 500 links; towards the South by Bute Street, 330 links; and towards the North-west by high-water mark of the Waihopai Estuary.
2.
Also all that piece or parcel of land situated in the said town, comprising 1 acre 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the North by Bute Street, 250 links; towards the East by Ayr Street, 500 links; towards the South by Tweed Street, 250 links; and towards the West by Beauly Street, 500 links.

Also all that piece or parcel of land situated in the said town, comprising 1 acre 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the North by Tweed Street, 250 links; towards the East by Ayr Street, 500 links; towards the South by Allan Street, 250 links; and towards the West by Beauly Street, 500 links.
4.
Also all that piece or parcel of land situated in the said town, comprising 1 rood 14 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the North by Allan Street, 195 links; towards the East by Ayr Street, 300 links; and towards the South-west by high-water mark of the Waihopai Estuary.
