The Short Title of this Act is “The Kaitangata Relief Fund Transfer Act 1892 Amendment Act, 1894.”

The Board constituted by “The Kaitangata Relief Fund Transfer Act, 1892,” is hereby authorised, from time to time as it shall think fit, to increase or decrease the amounts payable out of the fund mentioned in such Act to any present or future beneficiary, and also, if it shall see occasion, may altogether stop the amount payable to any such beneficiary either wholly or temporarily, and also, in any case of distress, may renew the grant to such beneficiary who, from any cause, may have ceased or may cease to receive contributions from the said fund.

The Board shall within the first fourteen days of the month of March in every year furnish a written report to the Public Trustee as to the condition of each recipient of relief from the said fund, and as to the reasons for its recommendations as to the continuance, variation, or cessation of allowances from the fund, and as to such other matters incident to the objects of the trust funds as it shall think necessary, or as the Public Trustee may require from time to time.

The Public Trustee is hereby authorised to pay out of the said funds any expenses, being actual outlay, which have been or may hereafter be actually incurred by the members of the Board in the duties devolving upon them.
