This Act may be cited as The Dunedin Technical School Site Act 1911.

(1.) The street comprising the area of land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby stopped as a public highway, and that area, together with the area comprising Sections 21, 22, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38, Block XIII, on the public map of the City of Dunedin, is hereby vested in the Education Board of the District of Otago in trust for educational purposes, but free from all other trusts and from all rights of way and easements whatsoever.

(2.) Without prejudice to the foregoing provisions, the said Board may use the said areas of land or any part thereof, or may permit the same to be used, as a site for a technical school or college.

The said Board may, with the consent of the Minister of Education, sell Section 21, Block XV, City of Dunedin, being the site of the present Dunedin Technical School, with the improvements thereon, and on any such sale the Board shall apply the net proceeds thereof in or towards erecting a technical school on the said Sections 21, 22, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38, Block XIII, City of Dunedin, or on any part thereof.
