This Act may be cited as the Wellington City Milk-supply Amendment Act, 1914.

Section five of the Wellington City Milk-supply Act, 1910 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), is hereby amended—

Section eight of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing the following words at the beginning of the section: “Subject to the provisions of this Act relating to milk brought into the city by road.”

Section nine of the principal Act is hereby amended by striking out the words “may, while a milk-station is available as aforesaid, be brought into the city by road and there sold,” and enacting in lieu thereof the words “produced at dairies in the city may, while a milk-station is available as aforesaid, be sold in the city”; and by adding at the end of the section the following new paragraph, namely:—

Paragraph (f) of section eleven of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing the words “introduction by road and” in the first line thereof.

Paragraph (b) of section eighteen of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing the words “brought into the city and sold” in the first line thereof, and enacting in lieu thereof the words “sold in the city.”

The power conferred by section six of the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act, 1911, shall be exercisable only in respect of milk-stations in which the business of selling and distributing milk in wholesale quantities is being carried on on the commencement of this Act.
