An Act to authorize the Otago Presbyterian Church Board of Property, at the Direction of the Synod of the Presbyterian Church of Otago and Southland, to pay out of the Ecclesiastical Fund of the said Church to the Otago Presbyterian Church Boys’ College Board of Governors (Incorporated), yearly, for a Period not exceeding Five Years, such Sum as may be voted in each of these Five Years by the said Synod in aid of the John McGlashan College, but such Vote not to exceed Seven Hundred and Fifty Pounds in any one Year.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: —
1 Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the Otago Presbyterian Church Board of Property Amendment Act, 1925.
2 Authorizing payments.
Notwithstanding the provisions of section twenty-two of the Otago Presbyterian Church Board of Property Act, 1906, the Ecclesiastical Fund referred to in such section may, in addition to the purposes therein mentioned, from time to time, until the first day of July, nineteen hundred and thirty, be applied by the said Board in payment to the Otago Presbyterian Boys’ College Board of Governors (Incorporated), in accordance with any direction of the Synod, of a sum or sums not exceeding seven hundred and fifty pounds in any one year in or towards the aid or maintenance of the John McGlashan College.
