An Act to amend the London and New Zealand Bank. Limited, Act, 1928.

Preamble.

WHEREAS abnormal financial conditions existing in London and elsewhere have delayed the subscription of one million pounds required by the London and New Zealand Bank, Limited, Act, 1928 (hereinafter called the principal Act), as a condition precedent to the incorporation of the London and New Zealand Bank, Limited: And whereas it is anticipated that the said subscription of one million pounds will be completed upon the return of normal financial conditions, and it is expedient to extend the time for obtaining such subscription:

Be it therefore enacted by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

This Act may be cited as the London and New Zealand Bank, Limited, Amendment Act, 1930.

2 Section 3 of principal Act amended.

Section three of the principal Act is hereby amended by substituting the words “nineteen hundred and thirty-two” for the words “nineteen hundred and thirty” therein appearing.

3 Private Act.

This Act is hereby declared to be a private Act.
