WHEREAS the Otaki and Porirua Trusts Board is a body corporate established by the Otaki and Porirua Trusts Act 1943 for the purposes of administering the property vested in the Board, and of applying the net income towards the provision of scholarships for post-primary education, with preference to be given to boys and girls of the Ngatiraukawa, Ngatiawa, and Ngatitoa Tribes and, failing such, to Maoris or descendants of Maoris of any part of New Zealand: And whereas pursuant to section 14a of the Act (as inserted by section 2 of the Otaki and Porirua Trusts Amendment Act 1969) the Board carries on the business of dairy farming for town milk supply under a system of sharemilking upon parts of the Board’s Otaki lands described in the Schedule to the principal Act, and also on certain adjoining land held by the Board under a lease that expires at the end of 1979: And whereas it is desirable that the Board should also have power to carry on the business of farming on any other land that may be acquired by it:
