An Act to amend “The Religious, Charitable, and Educational Trusts Act, 1856.”

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

The Short Title of this Act shall be “The Religious, Charitable, and Educational Trusts Act Amendment Act, 1875.”

2 Interpretation of term “Office Bearers.”

In the construction of “The Religious, Charitable, and Educational Trusts Act, 1856,” the term “Office Bearers” shall, in addition to the Roman Catholic Bishops of Auckland, be deemed to include the Roman Catholic Bishops of Wellington and Dunedin, and any other Roman Catholic Bishop who may be hereafter appointed to any place or charge in New Zealand.
