An Act to amend “The New Zealand Presbyterian Church Act, 1875.”

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

The Short Title of this Act shall be “The New Zealand Presbyterian Church Act, 1875 (No. 2).”

2 Amendment of “New Zealand Presbyterian Church Act, 1875.”

“The New Zealand Presbyterian Church Act, 1875,” shall be read and construed as if the words following had been inserted after the word “is” in the first line of the preamble to the said Act, at the time of the passing thereof, that is to say,—“within the Provinces of Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Wellington, Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury, and Westland.”
