An Act to amend “The Electric Telegraph Act, 1875.”

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

The Short Title of this Act is “The Electric Telegraph Act Amendment Act, 1879.”

2 Amendment of “Electric Telegraph Act, 1875.”

“The Electric Telegraph Act, 1875” (hereinafter called “the said Act”), shall be and the same is amended as follows, that is to say: Wherever in the said Act the expression “General Manager” appears, the expression “Superintendent” shall be read in the stead thereof.
