An Act to amend “The Building Societies Act, 1876.”

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

The Short Title of this Act is “The Building Societies Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1879.”

2 Subsection 1 of section 12 of “Building Societies Act, 1876,” amended.

The first subsection of section twelve of “The Building Societies Act, 1876,” shall be read and construed as though the words “and borrow” had been inserted after the word “loans,” in the first line of the said subsection.
