An Act to amend “The Railways Construction and Land Act, 1881.”

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

The Short Title of this Act is “The Railways Construction and Land Act 1881 Amendment Act, 1883.”

2 Governor may contract for Rotorua Railway.

The Governor may, at any time prior to the first day of the next session of the General Assembly, contract, under the provisions of “The Railways Construction and Land Act, 1881,” with the Company formed for the construction of the Waikato-Thames Railway to Rotorua.
