An Act to amend “The Customs Duties Consolidation Act, 1882.”
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The Customs Duties Consolidation Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1888.”
2 Certain goods may be warehoused.
On and after the passing of this Act section six of “The Customs Duties Consolidation Act, 1882,”
shall be read as if the following words therein, namely: “Carriages,”
“carts,”
“drays,”
“iron,”
“lead,”
“matches,”
and “timber,”
were omitted therefrom: Provided, however, that such goods shall be warehoused only in such places and under such conditions as the Commissioner may from time to time direct.
