An Act in Extension of “The Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Amendment Act, 1884.”
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Acts Amendment Act, 1891.”
2 Registrar of Supreme Court at Napier may act for Supreme Court Judge in certain cases.
The Registrar of the Supreme Court for the Wellington Supreme Court District for the time being located at Napier shall have and may exercise within the district mentioned in the Schedule hereto the like jurisdictions, powers, and authorities as are conferred by “The Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Amendment Act, 1881,”
upon Registrars of the Supreme Court for the Judicial Districts of Nelson and Westland respectively.
Schedule
So much of the Wellington District constituted under “The Supreme Court Act, 1882,”
as is comprised within the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay.
