An Act further to amend “The Slaughterhouses Act, 1877.”

Preamble.

WHEREAS section six of “The Slaughterhouses Act, 1877,” is in conflict with the provisions of section four of “The Slaughterhouses Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1888,” and the reading of the said sections together is doubtful:

Be it therefore enacted by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.

The Short Title of this Act is “The Slaughterhouses Act Amendment Act, 1891.”

2 As to slaughterhouses within one mile of borough.

Section six of “The Slaughterhouses Act, 1877,” is hereby repealed.

3 Slaughterhouses already licensed not to be affected.

Nothing in this Act shall prejudice any slaughterhouses erected and licensed before the coming into operation of this Act.
