An Act to amend “The Friendly Societies Act, 1882.”
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The Friendly Societies Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1892.”
2 Juvenile societies.
Subsection ten of section thirteen of “The Friendly Societies Act, 1882,”
is hereby amended by the substitution of the words “twenty-one years”
for the words “sixteen years”
in paragraph (a) of the proviso to the aforesaid subsection.
3 Deputy Registrar may be appointed.
The Governor may from time to time appoint such person as he shall think fit as Deputy Registrar of Friendly Societies, with power to act for the Registrar in his absence.
