Contents
An Act to amend “The Dog Registration Act, 1880”
(hereinafter, with its amendments, included in the expression “the principal Act”
)
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The Dog Registration Act Amendment Act, 1895.”
2 Chatham Islands may be excluded from Act.
The Governor may from time to time, by Proclamation, exclude that part of the colony called the Chatham Islands from the operation of the principal Act or of any specified portion thereof.
3 Principal Act to be subject to Proclamation.
The principal Act and every portion thereof shall operate, or be excluded from operation, according to the terms of every such Proclamation.
4 Amendment of section 2 of “The Dog Registration Act Amendment Act, 1890.”
Section two of “The Dog Registration Act Amendment Act, 1890,”
is hereby amended by omitting the words “not being a resident of any borough or town district.”
