An Act to amend “The Pharmacy Act, 1898.”
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title
The Short Title of this Act is “The Pharmacy Act Amendment Act, 1899.”
2 Section 27, (5), of principal Act restricted to New Zealand shops.
The provisions of subsection five of section twenty-seven of “The Pharmacy Act, 1898”
(entitling certain persons to be registered as pharmaceutical chemists without examination), shall apply only in cases where the person claiming to be entitled to be registered under that subsection was, as owner or manager, keeping open a shop in New Zealand as a dispensing or homoeopathic chemist at the time of the coming into operation of that Act.
