An Act to extend “The Government Advances to Settlers Act, 1894.”
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title.
The Short Title of this Act is “The Government Advances to Settlers Extension Act, 1901”
; and it shall form part of and be read together with “The Government Advances to Settlers Act, 1894”
(hereinafter called “the principal Act”
).
2 Power to raise additional loan of £1,000,000.
In addition to the loans authorised to be raised under Part II. of the principal Act, it shall be lawful for the Governor in Council to raise under and for the purposes of that Act any sum or sums not exceeding in the aggregate the sum of one million pounds.
3 Repeals.
The enactments described in the Schedule hereto are hereby repealed.

In part, namely: Section 28, from “Provided further that the authority”
to the end of that section.
1895, No. 42.—“The Government Advances to Settlers Act Amendment Act, 1895.”
In part, namely: Section 7.
1898, No. 6.—“The Government Advances to Settlers Act Amendment Act, 1898.”
